Surrounded by old books, antiques and settled next to an open fire, The Library restaurant is reminiscent of dining in a bygone era –with white linen tablecloths and candlelit tables. An intimate space, limited to only six tables. Our six-course tasting menus are creative, seasonal and make use of the fantastic larder available to us in Aberdeenshire. Our Chefs have access to an abundance of organic fruit and vegetables, which are grown in our own kitchen garden. With over 80 different varieties of fruit and vegetables grown on-site, often we can use unique ingredients, rarely found elsewhere in the region.
Our Library Restaurant opening times are:
Dinner (Tasting Menu), Wednesday to Saturday 7pm – 8pm
Non-resident guests are welcome, but an advanced reservation is required. The Library is also available for private dining outside of these times. Please do get in touch for information regarding our private dining options.
One of the highlights of our Library tasting menus are the accompanying wine flights. Our in-house Sommelier (James Payne – former winner of UK Sommelier of the Year), works closely with our Head Chef to select interesting and diverse wines, to complement our Head Chef’s tasting menu.
