Exclusive Use
Douneside House, entirely your own
Reserve the whole of Douneside for two unhurried days, for you and up to 56 guests. The house,
the public rooms, the gardens and seventeen acres of Royal Deeside, private to you and your guests.

Exclusively yours
Two days, and the whole estate to yourselves
Gather your family and friends in the setting of Douneside House for two days of celebration, with time to catch up and make memories that last. Exclusive use includes luxury accommodation for up to fifty-six guests, and all of the public rooms to use as you wish: the Conservatory, the Bar, the Piano Lounge and the Tweed Room. The gardens and grounds are spectacular, and for your stay they are private to you alone. Every guest also has the run of the on-site health club throughout.
Saying “I do”
Your ceremony, indoors or under the sky
Where you marry is yours to decide. Say your vows in the light and airy Conservatory, with its views across the terrace garden, or step outside for a ceremony on the infinity lawn, with the Howe o’ Cromar and the hills beyond as your backdrop.
Whichever you choose, the day is shaped around you rather than a fixed running order.

Stay
Wake on the morning in Lady MacRobert’s suite
Begin your wedding morning in Lady MacRobert’s suite, with its triple-aspect views across the gardens and grounds. Glass of champagne in hand, watch from the turret window as your guests make their way up the drive.
Family and friends have the choice of the house’s guest bedrooms and the estate’s cottages and apartments, so everyone stays close and gathers again over breakfast. The estate cottages are dog friendly, allowing four-legged family members to be part of the stay too.
Dine
Dining as memorable as the day itself
Our award-winning kitchen shapes the food around you. A relaxed buffet or barbecue on the first evening, a bespoke menu of your favourites, or a six-course tasting wedding breakfast. Whatever you have in mind, the team will make it happen, with the same Three AA Rosette kitchen that guests come to Douneside for.

Celebrate
Make the most of two days together
There is time, over two days, for more than the wedding itself. Dance into the small hours with a traditional Scottish ceilidh, gather for a whisky tasting, take yoga on the infinity lawn, or play a round of golf on the morning of the wedding. We are happy to share ideas and help shape a celebration that feels entirely your own.
