Alpha Cottage

Alpha is a lovely pet friendly three bedroom holiday cottage, located within the beautiful grounds of Douneside with views across the Arboretum. It is a stone's throw from the Health Club and just a short stroll to the main house. Alpha cottage is ideal for those who wish to be in the close vicinity of Douneside House but with a little more space. All of Alpha's bedrooms are en-suite. There is a lovely patio area within the gardens of the cottage, a perfect spot for a glass of bubbly in Spring and Summer.

Guests staying in our cottages and apartments have full access to all of Douneside's facilities including the onsite Health Club with swimming pool, gym sauna and steam room. Within the grounds of Douneside there is plenty for all the family; with a tennis court, putting green, and children's play park, to name a few.

Alpha has its own small kitchenette with hob and microwave but guests may also choose to dine in our Conservatory or Library restaurant - an advanced reservation is required.. We can offer packed lunches or luxury picnic hampers for guests who wish to spend their day exploring everything the local area as to offer. In Spring and Summer months we can provide a BBQ, for you to self cater al fresco in the Aberdeenshire countryside.

We don't have set check-in days for our apartments and cottages but we do require a minimum two night stay. Our team would be delighted to help you put together an itinerary for your family holiday in Royal Deeside
