For many of our guests, MacRobert’s Reply Bar is the social heart of Douneside House. With its open log fire, comfortable seating, and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a welcoming place to pause, unwind, and enjoy good company. Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment to yourself, the bar offers a calm and characterful setting throughout the day and into the evening.

The bar is open daily from 12 noon to 11pm, serving a well-considered selection of drinks for every occasion. Enjoy a signature cocktail created by our talented team, a glass of Champagne before dinner, or a classic after-dinner whisky by the fire.

As you’d expect in the Scottish Highlands, our whisky collection is a carefully curated range from across the Highlands, Islands, Lowlands and beyond, making it ideal for discovering something new or returning to a favourite dram.
